Enterprise Link Building Strategies – MORCon 2012

by Jason Acidre on October 1, 2012 · 19 comments · Content, Search

I talked about link building strategies, principles and mindsets for enterprise-level campaigns 2 days ago at Mastering Online Rankings Conference, which was held at Vista Venice Resorts, Morong Bataan.

The chance to converse and exchange ideas with new industry friends and certainly some of the greatest minds in our local Internet Marketing community (like Gary Viray and Rex Malvas, a real-life affiliate marketing genius) was gold!

Anyway, here’s my deck from the event:

Jason

great job on your conference, I’m looking at the slides and I thought “content asset” is a very crucial thing that you stated regarding content.

basically investing the best time, quality, values, and tools into putting out good information that is the start of building great backlinks.

The content is the product so we must create great products to get good buyers

Congratulations on your conference, Jason. I’ve just looked through the slides and I though to myself – content really is the king of link building. Especially the evergreen content, which you can always promote and receive traffic from it, since it’s being search for daily.

Thanks for posting the presentation here.

That was a good presentation, Jason! You mention that we have to find industry-related sites that have a high search share, and then acquire links from them – what is the best method that allows you to do that and be successful at it?

Slide 6 (just like everything else in life) strikes home with me. I always think in terms of weight loss. We all know how to do it. But it requires discipline, eating right, working hard and at the end of the day, having a goal beyond being lazy.

I think you’re right that most everything is headed toward mindshare and branding. You have to be “someone who believes in X” and secure that space in everyone’s thoughts about you.

Hey Kaiserthesage,
You have specified the importance of content. How it is powerful and how can the strategy be indeed. However you have explained it through presentation. What a wonderful presentation! I especially liked the third slide. What a great thought.
