How I Do Link Baiting on @kaiserthesage

by Jason Acidre on October 10, 2013 · 32 comments · Content, Search, Social

This was my slide presentation earlier today for a brainstorming session with WebPros‘ search and content team (they were amazing and a very smart team!). The deck is just a recap of the core inbound marketing strategy that I’ve been implementing on this blog for the past couple of years.

If you’ve been a reader of this blog, then I believe you’ll find many of the ideas from the presentation very familiar.

Very nice and concise slideshow with easy to digest summary of what works for your link building strategy. My time is more and more limited these days and I love to digest information like this. I know it can gloss over details but often I don’t want to mach detail and technical explanation. Thanks for sharing.

Great stuff…I really liked slide #18 :)

Your outreach process is very similar to mine. Leveraging people who have already proven to LINK & LIKE similar content works fantastic.

Yeah, I find that approach (for outreach) very effective too – since they’re highly targeted.

Thanks for dropping by AJ :) It’s always nice to see you here

Hello Jason

Love your presentation.

Here are my few questions and feedback –

Slide No 23 – We noticed that bounced rate is 83.84% and site avg is 74.21% – Such rate is quite high.

Would love to get your thoughts on this.

Slide No 27 – Now this is quite effective and give you opportunity to capitalise it.

Slide No 40 – Love that Pro tip

and you end it quite well – “A great content deserves a great campaign”

This is a great post…I find myself struggling to supply rich and unique content when my posts are primarily about events in the city. It is a real estate site and use a combination of topics, primarily events in the area and home maintenance tips. Any advice?
