Updated: This post was originally published on January 7, 2010 – a week before Google’s Pagerank had its update, and courtesy of my stupidity in crashing my database, I had to redo this blog from scratch :) Anyway, this entry is about a list of new yet of high quality online marketing blogs.

As we all may bid farewell to Google Pagerank, we also welcome the dawn of a new era in the world of Online Marketing, a new decade and a brave new world for us all to explore.Top Online Marketing Blogs

Without the Pagerank, all the sites that we have followed closely before are pretty much equal with us now. Especially if you gauge it through other aspects (traffic, link profile and noise), we can quite say that it really is a New World, a new beginning.

So I decided to seek out for influential people across this industry who are not getting enough recognition due to Pagerank’s influence on other people’s belief when it comes to measuring authority.

Note: This is not a list of sites that you must check out, but rather sites that are already an authority in their respective fields. They are kings without crowns, and I’m giving this space to welcome these new breed of marketers, bloggers and SEOs that certainly have something smart to say to the world of digital trading.

As an SEO, I do have the eye that can distinguish if a site is of high quality or not and I have carefully chosen the sites listed below (in no particular order) that have met the criteria to be entitled as an authority, except for one – Pagerank. All the listed sites have:

So with no further ado, here are today’s top authority blogs in the online marketing industry:

Social Media, Blogging and Writing

Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing

Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and MMO

Online Business and Web Entrepreneurship

10 more upcoming blogs to watch out this year

To all the rookies, let our voice be heard as the year and the decade starts, because it’s our time. You know what’s next, scroll up and spread the word. And please do vote for this entry at SERPd.com – here.

Thanks for the list but from my point of view, I believe this is no good enough. For. Seth Godin has very useful and one of the top blog in the world.

Hi Jason or should I call you Kaiser the sage? :) Which do you like or prefer?

Anyway, I just wanna ask about what you have mentioned above which is “Pagerank 0 (not anymore)”. What do you really mean by that? Page rank is not very important when it comes to content or juice right?

Can a website or page, rank well in search engines even if its PR is low but has a high PA, MR and AR(Page Authority, MozRank, Alexa Rank)?

    Thanks

Jason, I’ve been looking for a list like this. My business has been really slow and I am starting to panic. I understand how important that internet is but have never had the time since I was always busy. Now I’m super slow which sucks but I do have the time to read these great blogs you’ve listed.

    Thanks
